Accredible vs Microsoft Entra Verified ID Comparison: Everything You Need to Know Before Choosing

Accredible is a digital credentialing platform that enables education providers, professional bodies and certification organisations to issue, manage and verify digital certificates and badges. The company positions itself as a leader in its category, and its platform is used by universities, training companies and associations that award credentials to large numbers of learners. The problem it addresses is the limited value of traditional paper or PDF certificates: they are easy to forge, hard to verify, rarely shared and provide no data to the issuer about how credentials are used. Accredible replaces them with secure, verifiable digital credentials that learners can share on professional networks and in their CVs, turning each award into a marketing asset for the issuing organisation. Its approach combines credential design and issuance with engagement and analytics tools intended to drive programme growth and learner loyalty. The platform provides a design studio for creating branded certificates and Open Badges-compliant digital badges, bulk and automated issuance, expiry and renewal management, and blockchain-backed verification options to guard against fraud. Recipients receive a personal credential wallet and can share achievements on LinkedIn and social media with one click, while issuers track views, shares and referral traffic generated by those credentials. Features such as Pathways allow organisations to design stacked credential journeys that encourage learners to progress to further courses, and the Spotlight directory helps employers find certified professionals. Accredible integrates with a broad range of learning management systems, event platforms and CRM tools, including Moodle, Canvas, Kajabi, Thinkific, Salesforce and HubSpot, and offers an API and Zapier connectivity. Customers include higher education institutions, technology companies running certification programmes, professional associations and corporate academies. Pricing starts from around USD 996, typically on an annual basis, with a free trial; there is no permanently free version.
