PACE Packager Hub is a workflow management solution created solely for application packaging teams to manage the delivery of application packaging services. It serves a specialised function that exists in most large IT organisations and in the managed service providers serving them: the team responsible for taking vendor software and preparing it for automated, unattended deployment across a managed desktop estate. That work involves receiving requests, gathering source media and requirements, building and customising the package, testing it across configurations, obtaining sign-off and releasing it to the deployment system. At any given time such a team may have dozens of packages in flight at different stages, handled by engineers across multiple locations or outsourced suppliers. Packager Hub provides the process infrastructure for that work, which is otherwise managed in spreadsheets, generic ticketing systems that model it poorly, or email. Requests enter through a portal or integration with an existing service management tool, carrying the application details, requirements, target platforms and business justification. Work items progress through configurable stages with assignment to engineers, deadlines, dependency tracking and automated notification, and the system enforces that required information and artefacts are present before a stage can be completed. Documentation, source files, scripts, test evidence and sign-off records attach to the work item, producing a complete package history that matters both for troubleshooting a deployment failure months later and for demonstrating process compliance. Quality gates and checklists standardise what testing must be performed. Reporting covers throughput, cycle time by stage, engineer workload, backlog ageing and service level compliance — the metrics on which an internal team justifies resourcing or an outsourced provider is measured contractually. Multi-tenant support suits service providers managing packaging for several customers separately. Pricing starts from around EUR 8,300; there is no free version and no free trial. Licensing reflects the number of packagers and managed customer environments supported.
