Duve vs TalkGuest Comparison: Everything You Need to Know Before Choosing

Duve is an end-to-end guest management and guest experience platform that helps hoteliers digitise the guest journey, increase upsell revenue and personalise communication. Founded in Israel and used by hotels in many countries, the product addresses the challenge of delivering a modern, contactless and personalised experience while front desk teams face staffing pressures and rising guest expectations. Traditional hotel operations rely heavily on manual check-in, paper forms and generic communication, which can lead to queues, missed revenue opportunities and inconsistent service. Duve’s approach is to create a personalised digital guest app, accessible through a web link without requiring a download, that accompanies guests from booking to checkout. By connecting with the hotel’s property management system and other tools, the platform automates communication and self-service tasks, allowing staff to focus on hospitality rather than administration. Key features include online pre-check-in with identity verification and digital registration forms, mobile check-in and checkout, and digital keys where supported by the hotel’s locking system. An upselling engine promotes room upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, experiences and add-ons, with automated offers timed throughout the guest journey. Unified guest messaging centralises communication across SMS, email, WhatsApp and other channels, supported by automation and AI-assisted responses. Digital guidebooks and concierge information provide details about the property and local area. Integrations with property management systems, payment providers, door lock systems and other hospitality technology enable seamless data flow. Analytics show upsell performance, guest engagement and operational efficiency. Duve is delivered as a cloud service and can be deployed across individual properties or hotel groups. It is aimed at independent hotels, boutique properties, hotel chains, aparthotels, serviced apartments and hybrid hospitality operators seeking to modernise guest experience. Pricing starts from around EUR 5, likely per room, with a free trial; there is no permanently free version.
