General Information
Overview
Quickbooks Power BI Connector is a data connector developed by Vidi Corp, a consultancy specialising in Microsoft Power BI, that links QuickBooks Online accounting data with Power BI for reporting and analysis. While QuickBooks includes standard reports, finance teams and business owners often want to build custom dashboards, combine accounting data with other sources and analyse performance in greater depth. Extracting data from QuickBooks for this purpose can be challenging, because the underlying data structure spans more than a hundred tables, and recreating financial statements such as profit and loss and balance sheets from raw data requires considerable expertise. Vidi's connector addresses this by providing pre-modelled data and ready-made reports, reducing the effort needed to build accurate financial analytics. The connector extracts data from QuickBooks Online and makes it available in Power BI in a structure suited to financial reporting, including transactions, accounts, customers, suppliers, invoices, bills and other entities. Pre-built report templates provide profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, accounts receivable and payable ageing, and sales insights, which users can customise to suit their own requirements. Scheduled refreshes keep dashboards up to date, and data can be combined with information from other systems, such as CRM, e-commerce or marketing platforms, to create a more complete view of business performance. Multi-company reporting supports organisations with several QuickBooks files, enabling consolidated analysis. Vidi Corp also offers consulting services for organisations that need tailored dashboards or broader Power BI implementations. The connector is designed to be set up without extensive technical skills, although familiarity with Power BI is beneficial. It is aimed at small and mid-sized businesses, accounting firms, finance teams and consultants who use QuickBooks and want deeper, more flexible reporting. Pricing is not published in this listing, and no free trial or free version is indicated.
