DoExam

DoExam is a cloud-based online examination platform from NotionWave that enables organisations to create and conduct tests, customise questions and measure performance through detailed analytics. Educational institutions, training providers and employers need to assess knowledge and skills efficiently, but paper-based tests are slow to administer and mark, and many online form tools lack the security and question variety required for credible assessments. DoExam addresses these needs by providing a dedicated system for designing exams, delivering them to candidates remotely or in controlled settings, and analysing results automatically. Its approach aims to make online assessment accessible to organisations of different sizes, reducing administrative workload and marking time while providing insights into candidate performance, question quality and learning outcomes, which can inform teaching, training and recruitment decisions. The platform is designed to be quick to set up for both occasional and frequent assessment needs.

Key features include a question bank supporting multiple question types, such as multiple choice, true or false, short answer and descriptive formats, along with randomisation of questions and answer options to discourage cheating. Exams can be scheduled with time limits, access controls and instructions, and candidates can be grouped by class, course or department. Automatic grading for objective questions speeds up results, while manual evaluation tools support subjective answers. Security features may include browser restrictions, attempt limits and monitoring options to maintain exam integrity. Analytics and reports show individual and group performance, score distributions and question-level statistics, helping educators refine assessments. Certificates can be generated for successful candidates, and branding options allow organisations to present exams under their own identity. The platform is cloud-based and accessible through web browsers. Target customers include schools, colleges, coaching institutes, corporate training departments, recruiters and certification bodies. Pricing starts from around USD 6 with a free trial; there is no permanently free version.
