FIELDMOTION is a UK-developed field service management software designed to maximise the productivity and efficiency of field-based staff by making the office paperless. The mobile app, available for Android and iOS, delivers job details to technicians, who can view customer information, asset histories and instructions, complete customised digital forms and checklists, capture photos, record parts used and obtain customer signatures on site. Completed job reports are sent back to the office instantly and can be emailed automatically to customers, speeding up communication and payment. Quoting and invoicing features allow businesses to generate professional documents quickly, while integrations with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage reduce double entry. Asset and contract management support planned preventative maintenance, recurring service visits and compliance certificates, which are important in sectors such as fire safety, security, HVAC and electrical services. A customer portal enables clients to view job progress and documentation. Reporting tools offer insight into productivity, job completion times and revenue. The platform works offline where connectivity is limited.
