Hubstaff Talent

Hubstaff Talent is a job board and freelancer directory operated by Hubstaff, the company known for its time tracking and workforce management software. Businesses seeking remote freelancers often turn to marketplaces that charge substantial fees on each transaction, while freelancers see a significant portion of their earnings absorbed by platform commissions. Hubstaff Talent addresses this by offering a directory in which companies and independent professionals can connect directly, without the marketplace charging fees or taking a percentage of payments. Its approach is deliberately lightweight: rather than managing contracts and payments, the platform focuses on discovery, allowing organisations to find candidates with relevant skills and freelancers to showcase their experience, with subsequent engagement arranged between the parties themselves. This makes it a complement to Hubstaff's broader tools for managing remote teams, which companies can adopt once they begin working with the people they have found.

For employers, Hubstaff Talent provides the ability to post remote job listings and to search a directory of freelancer profiles filtered by skills, hourly rate, experience level, location and availability. Freelancers and agencies can create profiles detailing their services, portfolios, languages and rates, and can browse and respond to published jobs. Because the platform does not act as an intermediary for payments, companies can manage freelancers using their own processes or through Hubstaff's time tracking, timesheets, payroll and productivity features, which integrate with a wide range of project management and accounting tools. The service is delivered as a web-based platform and is aimed at start-ups, small businesses, agencies and larger organisations building distributed teams, as well as freelancers in fields such as software development, design, marketing, writing and customer support. Entry pricing is listed at USD 0, reflecting the platform's no-fee model, and a free trial is noted, although a separate free version is not listed.
