MyHandling is a cloud-based business aviation planning, airport assistance, and fixed-base operator management software platform designed to help airports and FBOs organise handling requests, coordinate flight services, manage operational tasks, track aircraft movements, and prepare customer billing from one centralised interface.

Business aviation ground handling requires airport teams to coordinate aircraft arrivals and departures, passenger assistance, crew requirements, refuelling, catering, transportation, parking, customs support, and many other services. Managing these activities through emails, telephone calls, spreadsheets, and paper documents can create delays, duplicate work, missed requests, and billing errors.

MyHandling addresses these challenges by centralising flight information, handling requests, customer requirements, operational tasks, and billing details within a connected platform. Airport and FBO employees can access current requests, monitor upcoming flights, identify outstanding activities, and coordinate services without repeatedly transferring information between separate systems.

The software is developed by OPS Horizon and is specifically designed for business aviation airports and fixed-base operators. OPS Horizon describes MyHandling as a user-friendly and cost-effective business aviation planning and management application that provides real-time operational insights through a single interface.

MyHandling is suitable for airports, FBOs, ground handling companies, business aviation terminals, flight support providers, airport operations teams, dispatchers, billing departments, and customer service agents. It helps these organisations reduce administrative work so employees can focus more attention on aircraft operators, passengers, crews, and service delivery.

As business aviation operators increasingly expect faster handling confirmations and real-time flight updates, MyHandling provides a structured digital connection between aircraft operators and airport handling teams. Operators can submit handling requests online, while airport employees can review requirements, schedule tasks, monitor flights, and prepare charges more efficiently.

About MyHandling Software

MyHandling is a business aviation assistance management platform created to plan and organise airport and FBO activities. It provides a central environment for receiving handling requests, managing flight schedules, coordinating services, monitoring tasks, and compiling billing information.

The platform acts as an interface between aircraft operators, brokers, flight departments, airports, and FBOs. Operators can submit assistance requests and remain informed about flight activity in real time, while handling agents can review those requests and coordinate the required services.

MyHandling helps replace fragmented communication methods with a structured online process. Instead of receiving service requirements through multiple email threads and telephone conversations, airport teams can access relevant information from one system.

Typical handling requests may include:

Aircraft arrival and departure assistance
Passenger transportation
Crew transportation
Aircraft parking
Fuel services
Catering arrangements
Hotel booking assistance
Customs and immigration coordination
Ground power requirements
Cleaning services
Baggage assistance
De-icing or seasonal services

The software also provides operational teams with up-to-date flight information, task status visibility, automated messaging, and billing support. OPS Horizon states that MyHandling can display flight information from EUROCONTROL, provide a high-level overview of flights, and support automated communication.

By combining handling request management, flight operations, task coordination, customer communication, and billing preparation, MyHandling helps airports and FBOs operate more efficiently while maintaining a professional customer experience.

Ground handling companies can use MyHandling to receive customer requests and coordinate services for aircraft arriving at the airports they support.

The software helps ensure that operational employees can access the same flight information, service requirements, and task status.

Flight Support Providers

Flight support providers coordinating services across different locations can use MyHandling to communicate flight requirements to participating airports and FBOs.

This can help operators organise:

Ground handling
Fuel
Parking
Passenger transport
Crew transport
Catering
Accommodation
Airport assistance

Aircraft Operators

Aircraft operators can create an account and submit assistance requests through the MyHandling airport access portal. They can also use the platform to manage requests and receive flight information.

This may be useful for:

Corporate flight departments
Charter operators
Private aircraft operators
Aircraft management companies
Air ambulance operators
Government flight departments

Airport Operations Teams

Airport operations teams can use MyHandling to maintain visibility into flight schedules, parking requirements, handling tasks, and service deadlines.

A shared operational view helps different employees coordinate activities without relying on isolated records.

Customer Service Teams

FBO and airport customer service employees can review operator requests, communicate updates, confirm services, and provide more accurate responses.

Access to a complete request record helps staff deliver a more consistent customer experience.

Airport Billing Departments

Billing teams can use the service information recorded in MyHandling to prepare charges and export relevant financial data.

This can help reduce missed billable services and minimise repeated data entry.

Small and Regional Airports

Small airports may use MyHandling to replace spreadsheets, paper forms, and email-based handling processes with a structured online system.

The platform may be particularly suitable for locations that need dedicated business aviation functionality without implementing a complex airport-wide enterprise system.

Multi-Location FBO Operators

FBO groups operating across multiple locations may use MyHandling to standardise how handling requests, services, tasks, and charges are recorded.

Before implementation, multi-location businesses should confirm whether the platform provides the central reporting, user permissions, configuration, and location management capabilities they require.

MyHandling Software Use Cases

Business Jet Arrival Management

A corporate aircraft operator submits an assistance request before arriving at an airport.

The request includes:

Aircraft registration
Arrival time
Passenger count
Crew details
Fuel requirements
Ground transportation
Catering
Parking duration

The FBO team reviews the request, creates the required operational tasks, and monitors their completion before the aircraft arrives.

Handling Request Processing

An aircraft broker sends a request for assistance at a participating airport.

Instead of receiving the request through several emails, airport employees access all relevant information within MyHandling. The handling agent confirms the requested services and updates the request status.

Flight Delay Coordination

A business aircraft is delayed at its departure airport.

Updated flight information allows the destination FBO to identify the schedule change and adjust transportation, employee assignments, parking, and other services.

This helps prevent resources from being prepared too early.

Aircraft Parking Planning

An airport expects several business aircraft during a major local event.

Operations teams use MyHandling to review arrival and departure times, aircraft details, and expected parking durations. This information helps them organise the available apron or parking space.

Passenger and Crew Transportation

A flight operator requests separate transportation for passengers and crew.

The handling team records the service requirements, assigns the necessary tasks, confirms the transportation arrangement, and includes the charge in the flight billing information.

Fuel Service Coordination

A business jet requires a specified quantity or type of fuel before departure.

The requirement is recorded within the handling request so the appropriate operational employee or fuel provider can prepare the service.

Once completed, the fuel-related charge can be included in the billing workflow.

Catering Management

Passengers request catering before departure.

The FBO team records the catering details, coordinates with the selected supplier, monitors the task deadline, and confirms that the order has been delivered to the aircraft.

Billing Preparation

After a flight departs, the billing department reviews all recorded services.

Configured price lists are used to compile relevant charges, including parking, handling, transportation, catering coordination, and other services.

The billing information can then be exported for further processing.

Customer Communication

An operator requests an update regarding parking confirmation and transportation.

A customer service employee reviews the request record and provides an informed response without contacting several departments separately.

Daily Airport Operations Overview

An airport manager begins the day by reviewing the MyHandling operational dashboard.

The manager can identify:

Expected arrivals
Scheduled departures
Pending handling requests
Outstanding tasks
Parking requirements
Service deadlines
Billing activities
Potential operational conflicts

This overview supports better daily planning and decision-making.
