PeopleXact

PeopleXact is an employee engagement and workplace survey platform from Xact by Rambøll, the survey technology arm of the global Ramboll Group. Rather than offering a blank survey builder, PeopleXact is built on a validated research framework: a set of eight core thematic drivers, developed from decades of HR research and more than twenty years of Rambøll's own engagement measurement work, which organisations can combine with their own custom questions and themes. This makes it suitable for full-scale employee satisfaction surveys, engagement measurements, leadership and 360-degree evaluations, and statutory workplace assessments covering both the physical and psychological working environment. Surveys can be distributed through email, SMS, digital posts, shareable links and kiosk modes to maximise response rates among desk-based and frontline staff alike, and scheduling is suggested automatically by the system based on best practice while remaining fully customisable. Shorter organisational and team pulse surveys can be launched in a few clicks for teams that want to measure engagement continuously instead of annually.

The platform's emphasis is on what happens after the data is collected. Results feed into auto-generated, user-friendly reports and an advanced dashboard that converts raw responses into actionable findings and benchmarks them against Rambøll's national and industry datasets, so leaders can see not just their own scores but how those scores compare externally. An integrated action plan system, supported by a knowledge bank of recommended interventions, helps HR teams and individual managers translate survey findings into concrete follow-up initiatives and track progress over time. Customers can also engage Rambøll's in-house HR experts, business psychologists and analysts for survey design, interpretation and personalised follow-up with specific departments or leaders, giving the product a consultancy dimension that pure software vendors do not offer. Data protection is a core selling point: surveys are anonymised, all data is handled in Rambøll's own secured data centres, and the platform is fully GDPR compliant.
