General Information
Overview
Secure Redact is designed to responsible manage video files and live video. Through automated video redaction, use video for more than just security without compromising privacy. Protect personal data for DSARs, FOIAs, incident reports and sharing in captured video, and enable security and operational teams to use live video feeds for alerts, analytics and wider data access.
CaseGuard is AI-powered redaction software that automatically removes sensitive information from video, audio, documents and images. It exists because redaction at scale is otherwise impossibly labour-intensive. A police force responding to a public records request for body-worn camera footage must obscure every uninvolved face, every visible licence plate, every audible name and address, frame by frame across hours of recording — work that historically consumed days of staff time per request and created a backlog that agencies could not clear within statutory deadlines. CaseGuard automates the detection and tracking, reducing that effort to a fraction while leaving a human in control of the result. Video redaction uses object detection to find faces, bodies, vehicles, licence plates, screens and other specified objects, then tracks them automatically across frames as they move, turn and are briefly occluded, applying blur, pixelation or solid masking. Audio redaction transcribes speech and allows words, names, numbers or passages to be muted or bleeped, with keyword search across the transcript to locate every mention of a term rather than relying on an operator hearing it. Document and image redaction detects and removes personally identifiable information from PDFs and scans, including text within images through optical character recognition, and critically removes the underlying data rather than merely drawing a black box over it — the error that has caused numerous inadvertent disclosures. Manual review and correction tools let an operator verify and adjust automated output before release, which is essential where accountability for disclosure rests with a named individual. Audit logging records every action taken for defensibility, and processing can run locally rather than in the cloud to satisfy evidence-handling rules. Users include law enforcement, courts, government agencies, healthcare providers, legal firms and insurers. Pricing starts from around USD 99 per month with a free trial and no free version.
