Silent Auction Pro vs 32auctions Comparison: Everything You Need to Know Before Choosing

Silent Auction Pro is an event management and fundraising software from a US provider, designed for charitable organisations that run auctions and gala events. It addresses the logistical demands of such events: collecting and cataloguing donated items, registering guests, managing bid sheets or mobile bids, handling live auction lots and paddle raises, and processing payments quickly at checkout. Without dedicated tools, volunteers must reconcile paper records and payments manually, which is slow and error-prone and can undermine the guest experience. Silent Auction Pro’s approach is to provide an integrated system covering event planning, bidding and payment so that organisers can manage the full event life cycle in one place and focus on maximising funds raised rather than administrative tasks. Key features include online and mobile bidding, live auction support, donation and fund-a-need tools, ticket sales and registration, and item and procurement management with donor records. Guests can bid from their own smartphones, receive outbid notifications and pay online, while organisers can print catalogues, bid sheets and receipts when a traditional format is preferred. Check-in and checkout workflows are designed to reduce queues, and integrated card processing supports secure payments. Reporting covers revenue, items, guests and donors, and data can be exported for use in accounting or donor management systems. The platform supports in-person, virtual and hybrid events, and the provider offers onsite and remote event-day support options for organisations that want additional help. Silent Auction Pro is delivered as a web-based service and is aimed at schools, parent-teacher organisations, churches, charities, hospitals, foundations and service clubs that host fundraising auctions of varying size. Its combination of traditional and mobile bidding makes it suitable for organisations whose supporters have mixed levels of technology comfort. Pricing starts from around USD 899, typically per event; there is no free trial and no free version in this listing.
