What is Metaroom by Amrax?
Designed for professionals who need accurate room models quickly, Metaroom by Amrax is a mobile-first digitization platform. Use your iPhone Pro or iPad Pro to scan single rooms, multiple floors, or entire buildings and generate true-to-scale 3D models in minutes. The Metaroom Scan App automatically recognizes furniture, windows, and doors, and allows you to add snapshots and notes as you go. After scanning, the platform generates a 3D model or 2D floor plan in minutes. You can then open it in the Metaroom Workspace browser to measure, annotate, and refine. One scan yields both 2D and 3D outputs, saving hours versus manual surveys. Finished models can be exported in more than 30 CAD-ready 3D formats, including IFC, DXF, and GLB, as well as various 2D formats. The solution integrates with CAD software, including Autodesk, ArchiCAD, DIALux, and SketchUp. All data is stored in GDPR-compliant cloud storage for secure collaboration.
