WrkLst is an artwork and contact management solution for galleries, artists and collectors, designed to make running an art business straightforward by holding works, people and transactions in a single organised system. The problem it addresses is that most small and mid-sized galleries and independent artists manage their practice across a spreadsheet of works, a folder structure of images, an email address book and a stack of paper invoices. The artwork record holds cataloguing detail covering artist, title, year, medium, dimensions, edition and series information, condition, provenance, exhibition and publication history, cost, valuation and price, together with images and supporting documents. Location and status tracking follow works through storage, gallery display, art fairs, loans, consignments and sales, so availability is always current. Contact management records collectors, artists, institutions, advisors and press with their interests, holdings, correspondence and purchase history, enabling the matching of works to the people most likely to want them. Consignment handling covers inbound works from artists and estates and outbound placements with other dealers, tracking terms, splits and settlement. Presentation output generates branded PDFs, price lists and catalogues directly from records, and online viewing rooms share curated selections privately with named clients. Sales workflows handle offers, reserves, invoices, payments and commissions, and reporting covers inventory, sales performance and consignment positions. Shipping, insurance and framing records sit with each work.
