ACTICO Platform is a decision management platform from ACTICO, a German software company specialising in the automation of business decisions for banking, insurance, manufacturing and other regulated industries. It is designed to help organisations digitalise and automate the operational decisions that sit at the heart of their processes, such as credit approvals, pricing, fraud checks, eligibility assessments and compliance screening. The problem it addresses is that such decision logic is frequently buried in legacy code, spreadsheets or individual expertise, making it slow to change, hard to audit and inconsistent in application. ACTICO’s approach separates decision logic from application code, allowing business analysts to model rules, decision tables and flows visually and to combine them with machine learning models, so that decisions can be executed consistently at scale, adjusted quickly and explained to regulators, auditors and customers. This separation also shortens release cycles, because approved logic changes can be deployed without full application redevelopment. The platform comprises a modelling environment for designing rules and decision flows, testing and simulation tools for validating changes before release, a model hub for governance and versioning, and an execution server that exposes decisions as services to other applications. Machine learning capabilities allow teams to train, deploy and monitor predictive models and embed them alongside rules, supporting a hybrid approach to automated decisioning. Low-code tools help build decision-centric applications and workflows around the core logic. ACTICO also offers packaged solutions built on the platform for credit risk management, compliance, anti-money laundering screening and fraud detection. Deployment options include on-premise, private cloud and ACTICO-managed cloud, and REST interfaces support integration with core banking, CRM and other enterprise systems. Target customers are banks, insurers, financial service providers and large enterprises with complex decisioning needs. Pricing starts from around EUR 10,000 with a free trial available; there is no permanently free version.
