GloriaFood vs MENU TIGER Comparison: Everything You Need to Know Before Choosing

GloriaFood is an online ordering system for restaurants, acquired by Oracle in 2018 as part of its hospitality business, that allows food service operators to add ordering capabilities to their existing websites and social media pages within minutes. Many independent restaurants want to accept online orders for pickup and delivery but are deterred by the high commissions charged by third-party marketplaces or the cost of developing custom ordering platforms. GloriaFood addresses this by providing a simple, widely used ordering widget that restaurants can embed on their own sites. Its core approach is to lower the barrier to direct online ordering, enabling restaurants to retain customer relationships and avoid per-order commission fees, while managing incoming orders through a straightforward mobile app that staff can use without specialist training or dedicated hardware. Key features include an embeddable ordering button for websites and Facebook pages, menu management with item options and pricing, pickup and delivery ordering with configurable delivery zones and fees, table reservations, and an order-taking app for Android and iOS that alerts staff to new orders and allows them to accept and confirm estimated times. Paid add-on services include online payment processing, branded mobile apps, a sales-optimised website, promotions and marketing tools, and advanced reporting. Integrations with payment gateways and point of sale systems extend the platform’s functionality. GloriaFood is delivered as a cloud service and is used by restaurants in many countries. It is aimed at independent restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, takeaways, food trucks and small restaurant chains that want commission-free online ordering at minimal cost. The system supports multiple languages and currencies, which has contributed to adoption among small restaurants in many different countries and regions. The listing records a starting price of USD 0, reflecting its free core ordering service with optional paid extras, and a free trial is noted; no separate free version is recorded in this listing.
